Hans Capon after the boar runs off

Anyone know how to find Hans Capon after he goes off chasing the boar? I found a marker and a large area marked off in yellow, but i ran around there for an hour and cannot spot him. Please don't tell me this quest is bugged out too,

I would have tried to follow him but I was just frozen and couldn't move. Then I got a black screen and when I could finally move it told me quest failed and that I need to find him.Man rabbits are hard to shoot with a bow. I got 6 or so, but took me 30 missed shots to get them.

there's a camp at the edge of the marked area on the map where he "is"...bigger camp with a guard running around.

it's not.. "spoiler alert"................................. He gets taken captive by 2 cumans in the woods in that area... he'll be tied up to a tree in a small camp.. find the camp and you'll find him

I assume I'd better go back to the first camp and get some weapons first? I left them all in the chest because I was overloaded and couldn't run with my bow.

Yeah spolier alert you need to fight, I just ran in the direction he did until I foudn him

Thank you, I didn't realize that could be done.It's like I keep missing by what seems to be inches too high or low.

you can creep up behind the cumans and floor them from behind

But, I'd take a weapon just in case

hes in the North West side of that area.

you will have to fight 2 lightly armored cuman guys... but they are a bit of a challenge at that stage of the game.

Use your investigation skills - there's a pretty clear path that the boar trampled through and it'll lead you to the camp. It's also possible to free Hans without the Cumans noticing - so you don't have to fight!

I killed 2 Deer while looking for this b'arch. So overloaded I'm moving at 1/2 walking speed!
