Armor-Repair at 0% durability

I been wondering the last couple of hours on how to repair my armor (most pieces are at 0%, since I used them for over 10hrs now).
I know of Armor Kits, but somehow I am unable to use them...
It's been said that with a higher level of Maintenance you'll be able to repair badly damaged armor pieces, but my skill sits at level 15 and I still can't repair

go to one of the big towns and talk to the amour seller he will repair your stuff for a price.

Is there a way to make quick coin? I know of the Chumps on the River, but you still take a long ass time.

best way i found was steal all the armor off anyone you kill and sell it.

Well not every piece can be repaired I guess. At least the stuff out of leather or cloth. Havent tried to repair it by a tailor tho.

the tailor will repaire it for you

I have maintenance level 20 and still can't repair equipment at 40%-ish durability. Guess even at level 20 Henry is still a amateur compared to the true pros who actually do this for a living.

Levelling maintenance lets you repair anything above 59% yourself at substantially reduced cost. As long as you repair after every fight you'll be able to avoid needing to pay workmen for repairs while keeping your equipment in tip top condition for the next fight.

More importantly though, mainancence has extremely powerful perks. From reduced stamina consumption while running, to making plate armor completely silent.

same after the first siege you can just get a ♥♥♥♥ tun of groschen from loot.

I'm not even at the first siege.. I just kill random guys that want to duel by backstabbing them. My Henry is a psychopath.
