lol whether you succeed or fail the monastery quest you can still get your stuff back from the same chest.. a quest usually comes up thats called "get your things back"

in the same place u left it outside the monestary in the same city. took me a few minutes but finally found the room.

I just moved all my stuff even the groschen to the horse before entering the monastery and none of them got affected so i had them already when i left

Hell no. Finding out who the target was and then killing him during prayers in front of everyone was very satisfying.

Obviously they are stolen.
You donate all your belongings to the monestary when you join up as a munk.

I had a feeling that something like this would happened to me so I had all my items + money stored on my horse xD

You can never trust monks with your stuff!!

Honestly, I feel ready to get back into action, but a little refreshed from the downtime.

You can also get the inn room and store everything in your personal chest before you head off to do the monastery quest.

Freaking monastery. I hate fanatics. They kicked me out after one day.
I couldn't bother with that crap and razed the entire place.
