Keeping The Peace bug.

I'm trying to get to the armory so I can pick up my kit, but there's an issue. There are locked chests in all three stories. I didn't know what to do, so I just picked up every weapon on every floor of the armory. I now have thirteen new weapons in my inventory but no kit?

you can just opt to take your own gear, all youll be doing is talking anyways so charisma will help you in this instance instead.

I just had this bug and was totally baffled by it for a while - I was in the correct 'lower' guard room of the armory tower - but there were no guards sitting inside.

The 'fix' that worked for me was to sit down on the bench (on the right side as you face the bench if that matters).

Lo-and-behold a guard magically appeared sitting next to me on the bench who I could then talk to in order to collect my equipment.

Hope that helps someone else.

Thanks for the tip, it worked for me too. I sat down, got up, and the guard walked in.
