For those that finished it already, life after game end?
I'm been wandering the land for hours just taking everything in and for the most part ignoring the main quest line.

Once the games finished does it end end, or are you still free to wander around afterwards?

After the credits you still can roam around but You can't finish any Talmberg related quest because of the Siege and the castle and village will stay empty. After you finish the epilogue it throws you back to main menu.

So when you get back to the main menu, you can't continue? You have to not do the epilogue in order to just continued to roam around? Or can you do the epilogue, it throws you to the main menu and then you can still continue after?

If you click on continue you get thrown to the point before you can do the conversation with Hans to end the game completly. Talmberg still destroyed and dead and no quests from there, if you have to go to Talmberg citizens for quests you can't reach them because they're out of map or dead. better load a game before you go into the Bandit camp and do all your sidequests before going into the last chapter.
