Any bed really.
Camp sites, taverns, anywhere there's a bed.
Just make sure you own it or don't get seen.

Taverns need to also have a lodging marker to offer a room. You can sleep and save your game in the right bed in the millers house and any other bed which either belongs to you, you have rented or doesn't seem to be owned by an NPC. So beds in the wildernes, in sheds or abandonded houses etc. usually also save your game on sleeping.

There’s a “lodging” tavern in every town, some towns have a seperate drinking tavern as well, and there’s at least one out in the middle of nowhere, probably more. Most beds without an NPC standing next to them are usable for sleep.
Well this is really annoying. Lets say you are out in the woods for a mission and need to talk to an NPC. But because its night he wont talk to you and you cant sleep somewhere near cause at night every bed is taken. obviously. So you need to ride hours to your bed and then back just to talk to a stupid npc! Nicely done!

Just wait? Unless your very low on energy, passing like 12 hours isnt that bad, unless you want to save the game without using a schnapp
Yeah waiting is the only solutio to this. Or reading a book ;)

Go into inventory and press T to pass time
Man this is still so annoying.
Is there no pace to sleep in SASAU?
I mean come on game, I have to run around for 30 minutes to find a place to sleep or ride back ?
Not every Tavernkeeper offers to buy a bed I dont see many towns with that option either.....

check the inn closest to the monastery.

also worth noting that when you rent a room if you choose the few days option you get permanent at that lodging (bed and storage access)

also, in most places you can simply sleep in peoples houses if theres a spare bed even if your trespassing or in a "private area" - like i've literally broken into someones house, snuck into the bed next to them and fallen asleep for 10 hours lol

yes I unlocked that already in Uzhitz but some minor towns dont even have taverns and those who have, have no beds to share.
Are there more than one tavern in sasau? I hope you mean the church in the very south or do you mean the big one in the north?
Nevermind, I found it, its south west of the monastery and I need to remember to look for LODGINGS not taverns. My bad

Major issue in this game finding a place a buy a bed. In other games you just ask a guard where things are and they tell you. Have you ever arrived in a new town after dark in this game? its a nightmare

Yeah there are establishments where people just drink and nothing else. Makes sense

Hmm which ones? Might want to play them

In KC:D lodgings are marked on the map. They have different map markers than other taverns (a mug with traditional inn garland instead of just regular mug).
Which I noticed just now btw, as somehow I always found where to sleep before it would become a problem, and I usually plan my travels in a way to not be stuck anywhere after dark. And if I don't - I know it's my own risk. I guess it's the same thing as with people losing hours of progress because they were too lazy to save

Don't sleep. Drink energy potion or moonshine.. careful with moonshine if your not a drinker you'll need the anti drunk potion as well. There is a perk that you don't lose energy or hungry when waiting as well.

I have way more wait time then sleep time.
