Storage chest food Spoilage?
Does the storage chest that was provided for you prevent food spoilage?

If it did it will truly break realism, but then again the chest itself is magical in the sense that it has infinite space and can be accessed from various location keeping a consistent inventory.

I'm asking this because i had to do a quest that required me to obtain and carry a lot of meat. I'm unwiling to switch/drop my items. I really want to store the perishable goods then return later when i have the rest, instead of carrying a half rotten carcass.

I don't think it stops food spoilage... but I personally have switched to only carrying dried and cured foods xD... seeing as it's for as a quest however... I guess you will have to do that quest asap, fail the quest or waste your time reloading a save because the save systems bad... atleast until your able to craft saviours...

If you're getting meat for the butcher it doesn't matter how fresh it is, at least he never complained when I gave him all 0% fresh meat.

Good tip, thanks, I'll keep some stored up instead of selling it all next time :)
