How to STOP being a monk?

So i finsihed the Needle in a haystack quest, found who i need to kill, and killed them.
But now im almost to the end of the game (i think), and i am STILL getting the daily chores quest popups for Monestery, quite annoying... especially when i finished that ordeal like 2 days ago (real time not game time).

So how do i stop being a monk? because there is no quest that i seem to simply be able to opt out of, or NPC i seem to be able to speak to about quitting it.

Anyone knows? or do i need to start a new game and this time just lockpick my way inside the church and murder the dude (i won't spoil who) at night??? these popups are THAT annoying.

no man you are cool get the key to the doors and all you gotta do is walk outside and you will be able to either steal back your stuff or access the inventory of your horse, use that to kill the guys enforcing the rules (circators) and dump them inside the jail room

The problem is still there, it does not go away. I still get the daily tasks but there is no active quest in my quest log

No! Just bully other monks, do not obey, refuse go to jail. They will force you to go out.

But out from what, I am already out of the monastery life

Literally just go back into the monastery with a weapon. They’ll remove you from the order and you’ll not get those quest updates. Or just go on a rampage and kill them. Can’t be a monk in the monastery if there aren’t any monks to do quests for.

Still, just go back in and get in significant enough trouble to get kicked out.

I did just that. Quest is still active.

I mean, whatever it takes to get in. You could just break in. You probably still have keys, just walk in. Point is, get in, get caught with a weapon and boom. Not a monk. Though you might want to store important gear in case it gets confiscated.

I had the same problem. Luckily it quit giving me the stupid messages when 1.3 launched. It was doing it for like a week.

False. I did this multiple times and I was still a monk, still getting messages.

Sorry but I never had the keys to the monastery, or maybe they took it from me

It is easy to break in! The door is open. Go up to the wooden gallery, than to the left
