Offal (butcher skill) any use to this?

Imo it was not worth it. Get tanner instead. So far I've had no use of the offal-skill.

also, you can get both tusks and antlers in the apoccy.

You can get the trophies and the skin in other ways. But I don't think you can get all the entrails in shops or as random loot. Could be wrong though.

From what I can see cooked offal is a real money maker. I stumbled across a deer corpse and was able to cook the giblets. I don't remember the exact values but the stuff was surprisingly valuable.

This 1st made me think tanner, then offal, then tanner, then offal... but then no one seesm sure about much either.

You can level up your huting skill incrediblyfast by hunting big game animals with a strong bow though. In the end you won't have to chose and just take all the gutting skills.

It's bit tricky to find the proper hunting grounds if you didn't have the cartographer perk but once you have it can a few boars boost your hunting skills up to maxium within an hour or two.

So far just hunted a few rabbit for 3 seperate quests. And only have the one point, and I don't want to squander. Need to up my bow game though too, so maybe I will go hunt some stag and boar. Need a boar now for a quest anyhow...
