How do you level up reading skill?

Do you just wait and look at a book while pressing a and d in a while or do you just find new books and read through those and never return to them?

Literally just read books. Buy a bunch from the scribe in Uzhitz and it levels super quick.

EDIT: By read, i mean open it, slip to the last page and you're done.

There is Primer and Primer II which I believe are designed just to raise your reading level. Like skill books for reading.

Yeah you can throw the old ones, same for skill books. You can only read them once.

For example i read a lot in free time. Just remember to read in the places with good ammount of light to save your eyes.
