Buy best armor and weapon

Does anyone know where I can buy the plate armor? And any recommendations for the best shortsword and shield to buy?

You can find the plate armor... without a single draw of a weapon. There's a chest NE of Neuhof. It's not even considered stealing.

Kinda against stealing, I'm trying to play a 'rich good knight' playthrough before playing the 'thief' playthrough. Money is surprisingly easy to come by

I wouldn't think so. That armor isn't even the best in the game. I used it for a while but I've almost replaced the whole set now with armor I looted.

Best dealer is in Rattay. Everything is there.

by the lower gate next to the weapon smith and bailiff is the armor shop. the armor smith in sasau has the best ive seen if i remember correctly

i just kill Cumans and sell their stuff in Ratattataty or Sasau, keeping the best for myself.

So far the best I got is Milanese brigantine and Noble hauberk for bodyarmor.
