Teacher bug? Or actual mechanic?

Everytime I try to pay to learn from a teacher (stealth teachers in rattay) they say "Are you pulling my pizzle, you want me to teach you after what you did here?" Then the dialogue ends.

I killed some people and served jail time in uzhitz like a week before.
Do I have to wait longer? Like a month or something? Or am I screwed...?

Work your way back up. Help people in town, trade with them(dunno if it helps unless you haggle and give them more money), generally do good deeds around places, maybe wear more noble like clothes near them.

Its for specific persons or groups as well, I knocked out a nobility women once and ALL of them hated me, ran away and avoided talking to me. I dont dislike the system, but I dont really see the point, as there are not quests for anyone, how would I get on their good side again? Seems like cut content is causing that system to not work.
