Bandit camp battle is impossible

Seriously I have been doing this for 2hours.
everytime I die or we all die, its impossible. the AI does not attack the archers they just stand their and look at them whilst dying. its annoying

Did y ou tell Sir Radzig that there is a great many i lost count? your going to need everyman available, restart before the talk with sir radzig and tell him that theres so many you lost count. If you get the the point where they all stop and want you to take down the archers, get behind the fence below the stairs

get plate, tank archers, get behind the bandits back and get free hits on them while they are busy with your troops

I did say there was countless, we have all the men possible. I think my game is glitched, the AI does not attack the archers, and the arches kill everyone

Put fire to the stack of hay, then the archers leave their position.

Its a bug. I tried the mission 15 times, and the same thing, the AI didnt attack the archers and they always died after.

The bug is that the AI is supposed to show up with your own archers but they dont. I had to try the mission 15 times before, the 16th, my own archers finally appeared out of nowhere, and killed their archers, and then i was able to complete the mission.

I get the the part with the archers and my allies just stand there so I kill the archers by myself but then nothing else happens and the next thing I know I get game over for no reason.

That was an easy mainquest. I took the whole camp out by myself before the quest without the help of anyone, both groups. I suggest leveling up maces and ez modeing them by pigeon-holing them. The best advice I can give for the battle is flank hard and use a mace since mace counters armor and chainmail.

Well thats interesting, i rushed head first right into the archers as soon as i noticed them and beated the life out of them, then everything was ok no one died on our side, we practically eated them alive

its your job to kill those archers. Which is really easy with a bow or simply a shield and sword as they cant fight for ♥♥♥♥. And with plate armor which by then you should already have they cant really hurt you either.
Most of you play the game simply wrong. You dont learn the fighting system, the archery or farm money to be prepared.

This is one of the best RPG in the past 20 years and i love every second of it. :)

I just discoverd the joys of the mace. about 30 hours with a sword, all for nothing! I can 2 shot nearly every enemy with the mace or hack away for 16 hours with a sword.

The EASIEST way to deal with these large groups of bandits, is to go in... put your back to one of those triangular tents, and then lock-on to a bandit...

After you're locked-on, you should be able to back pedal to the top of the tent, and if you get it just right, you'll be standing on the very TOP of the tent. It might take a few tries before you can get up there without falling.

Once you get up there, DON'T MOVE. The moment you press a directional key or swing your weapon or anything, you'll fall off. Now switch to your bow... You should be able to just shoot all of them without them being able to get to you.

"Shoot all those poor fish in the barrel" XD

I don't consider this to be cheating at all, because there's only ONE of me, and I'm supposed to take out 7 fully amor-clad bandits with shields by myself? Yeah. Right.
