So i finished the quest line of the huntsman at talmberg, and i get the title of royal huntsman, im given the lodge an all blah blah blah.
I go to the lodge and it's still as if it belonged to someone else, doors that are locked need lockpicks, and if i take something it's marked as stolen, is that intended?
Also i found a key called "key to nicholas' trunk " yet it's a quest item and it doesn't open anything on the cabain.
Anyone else had this happen? Is it intended?

iam trying to do the quest, in which i have to force nickolas to sign a confession but the dialog options wont appear.
is that the quest your talking about?
if so what did u do?

Yeah that's the quest, but that didn't happen to me, i just went to him after kidnapping his wife and forced him to sign the confession.
try starting from an earlier save

but there seems to be another bug(?).
nicholas has a questmarker on him but no dialog options for it.

yeah game is broken for so many ppl in different parts, to many it works to others it doesn't, weird

maybe i broke it by stealing the horn earlier in the game?
its the only abnormality i can think of.
unfortunately i cant put it back

I kinda figured out quickly that Hare Hunt and Sheep in Wolfs Clothing are rival Quests lines. I assume for now from what ive seen/done so far.

So i tried to kinda disect for best outcome, i stole the horn then (through dialog, yada ya) got the wife to hang the twig above her doorway to signal for Hare to meet. After meeting him i arrested him (by knocking him out) and completed the Hare Hunt Q.

Then i return the stolen horn to Lukesh? i think is his name. He had me meet in the woods and Hare is there, and we are ambushed by gaurds from T-town. So i knew this was gonna happen and all, but once i sided here with Hare and then went back to Hunstman house to kidnapp wife...the wife ahd no dialog, so i choked that woman out in her sleep (heheh). SLOWLY carried her to the Hare by the (even slower walk to get there) cave i followed him to after the gaurd encounter.

After that, i got the document from Hare to get Nicholas to sign ( i think i had stolen it earlier aswell), but Nicholas wont give me a dialog.


Im guessing it broke becase i completed the huntsman Nicholas's quest for the Hare Hunt and arrested him.

If anyone knows what to do..if theres a way, lemme know!

i didnt even get the rivaling quest from nicholas.
i onyl know he offers a quest (or should be offering one) because he has the "questgiver" - marker on him. no dialog for it appeared though. not even before i started lukesh's questline.

This quest is brkoen for me and I think it is brkoen if you decide to side with Hannekin Hare.
