Horse Trader - Neuhof

Where on earth is the horse trader in Neuhof? Can't seem to find him.

Also I think it may be blocked during the quest to solve the Neuhoff raid. After that I could buy there (though hit the name issue after a lengthy search of the area)

Ah, nevermind. I went back and it says "I'd like to buy a horse." now. I might have come at a time of the day that she was technically not selling, but was still letting me trade.

Is it just me, or is the "buy a horse" some kind of a gamble?
I can take a look at a lots of horses, seeing their stats and all. But they are always called "Horse" (no level shown), and when I got to Zora, they are listed as Named Horses with Levels.
So, how I am supposed to know which Horse was the interesting one?

This. I'm currently trying to buy one but I don't see a way of knowing which horse is which.

I could see the ones that were named. At least the one I wanted was named. Are you looking in the building complex where Zora is or down the hill a bit? Most of the named ones I seen were down the hill in enclosures behind a large stable.

I actually just found it. Came back to update. The horses I was seeing were part of the main complex where you investigate the slaughter when you first go to Neuhof. There are some named "Horse" as well in the stables so i assumed they were all named "Horse". Kept looking and found the named ones.

Both. I was looking at 2 horses down the hill and at 2-3 in the stables. All were named "Horse"

She sells the horses too, I asked if I could purchase a horse
