tried fully repairing & washing it all as well since I figured oh maybe its all the blood on my clothes
tried leaving the area and returning (after intiial kill) waiting until nightfall, using cuman gear from elsewhere without killing anyone in the camp
in the end I just went ahead and killed them all then sabotaged the camp
havent done the follow up yet so don't know how that will effect the rest of the quest
If you plan on looting, I recommend to hold off on buying dark clothings just incase if you get lucky and find some in chests.
Did that, didn't work.
Yeah that is the fastest solution. But I wanted to learn/figure out how disguises work. I think it may be bugged for some people and not for others? And Stealth was more fun. (Especially for immersion)
Right?
Also there's currently a glitch, if you manage to find this "well/cave" thing within their camp and you go down there. There's an invisible wall blocking all the npc from getting inside. And you can literally just pick them off with your bow and arrow 1 by 1. I initially was going to finish it off like that (Ended up killing about 12-15 of them?). But I'm quite picky about how I want to complete a game (especially an rpg one) and felt that it was too "cheating".
So did I, legit full set. I was even overweight because I wasn't able to handle the entire set of armor. (And I made sure they all had "Cuman" within the gear's name.) I moved some armor to my horse and fast travel to rattay. Slept/hang out at the mill for a day, cleaned myself up at the bathhouse just incase it was the blood. Went back there with full set equiped. Still got aggroed.
Note in my first post, I've said I've used every combination of cuman gears I could find. I've killed several of them and mixed and matched. So please read that next time.
Edit: I also tried Bandit gears as well. Didn't work.
It appears that I can walk with them, but as soon as I enter the camp or try to run past someone on patrol, they go ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and instantly attack me
Yeah, just go stealth or "berserk" and set everything on fire and run away on your horse. Make sure your speed is high. Stealth is the easiest approach. However, if you go stealth you want to set the arrows on fire LAST. Because the moment you set it on fire, it becomes noticeable, while poisoned pot isn't.
I've also tried that, didn't work. Where you get your gears shouldn't even matter if it's fully cleaned and you got your face covered for disguise. (I even tried to fully repair the armor).
