boxing in sasau

iam just wondering if anybody was able to fight in the boxing ring in sasau.
i was able to improve my boxing there but was unable to get them to fight me.
is anyone having the same problem? what am i missing?
the boxing quest hasnt advanced for me since i beat up those guys in ratay.

first u have to do the fights in uschitze which are organized by the fisher north-east of uschitze.

For me it was a quest by the tanner next to the ring. So I go there and beat them all up and told them to move away.

I don't believe that's true. I never did the fights in Uzhitz... never even knew they happened... and i still had the quest to do the fights in Sassau and won them.

You have to fight one particular guy first, however. IIRC. until you fight and defeat him you can't fight the others.

There's a boxing ring in Sassau near the Quarry - active at night

There is a main quest item that is connected to the Boxing RIng in Sassau.

There are also Boxing mini-quests throughout the game:
1. Do Me a Favor, Punch Me in Rattay
2. Fishy Business in Uzhitz (get a Book as reward)

However, OP seems to be saying you can join a fight in Sassau if you have fought in Uzhitz - which is a really cool find, since this isn't mentioned often.

p.p.s. There might also be a Boxing Fight in Ledetchko and Skalitz, but i've never done those unless part of main quest.

It's a bit annoying to track. The one in Rattay is easy, Uzhitz is hard to find (because you just have to go to that one fisherman that lives really far away from the village), and others are just random.

Sassu is completely missable, if you do it like I did, completely oblivious that this is a thing and part of the main story (it never occurred to me that I should go talk to Bailiff) - it's a bit annoying that you can't fight with the guys on your own, they still gather there at night, but you can't interact with them, if you didn't get the quest. I'm afraid it's just unfinished, because they still say stuff as if the quest was active.

As for Skalitz, I have no idea when you can do this one, but the guys (should be bandits dressed as Cumans) aren't there - and yes, I've finished the previous 2 activities. I'm before the monastery infiltration, but I would like to think I'm at least halfway through the main story.

Unfortunately, that didn't work for me, checking everyone at the tannery, even the trader, the bailiff (just to be sure, he said all quiet despite them being there every night). Looks like I just missed out, was really looking for to Rev. of the Cuman King

The Sassao fighters are tied to story progression. You can't interact with them until you get further in the story and sort of serves as a side quest, I think it's around when you have to enter monastery. Same with the Cuman King fighters, although that one is not logically tied to any mission and you just have to guess where they are.

not directly related but I think the tournament DLC should've also used the fighting arenas in other provinces and not only in Rattay. seems like a missed opportunity to me.
