That might explain it. I have a Villager's Ash Bow(37 power), Wounding Arrows(115 slash damage), and a bow skill of 2.
Im pretty far away and hide in a bush but they still see me, is this becuase of my visability lvl?
are you doing this in broad daylight? if so, probably. This game seems slightly more realistic about its detection that the normal RPG. if you sit in a bush in daylight wearing shiny armour or bright red then you'll be seen pretty easily.
wearing black in darkness helps ALOT. sitting in black cloths in a pitch black corners and ive had people walk straight past me in touching distance.
still, there does seem to be some weirdness in detection once you actually kill somebody, there definately seems to be a different active and passive detection stat.
when you enter the coumans place by the ''secret'' entrance (with posion potion and a chest with couman stuff), next on the right there is a small cave with water. If you get inside, you can see coumans yelling at you behind the small wall that is in front of the cave's stairs, but they never manage to go over that wall and get inside the cave. So you can shoot them one by one from the bottom of the stairs :)
yeah i did do it during the day with armour on haha, ill try it at night with dark clothes.
