Axe blunt damage
So I decided to go with axes as some axes provides all three types of dmg with OK values. Isn't left mouse a slash attack and right mouse a piercing attack? So what do I press for blunt attack? Some axes have hammer build in. Do I use it with counter?

I guess slash or blunt damage applies depending on what kind of armor your opponent is wearing.

Does right clicking allow you to jab with the head of the axe?

eh what kind of logic is that? Just tell me which part of the axe should deliver piercing damage? It doesnt have any pointy part to start with. Thoug i think some axes can change their blunt damage to piercing with a top spike. Not sure though havent checked. Secondary damage part is right click by default btw

Powerful swords with low blunt damage can 1-2 hit armored opponents, so this is very unlikely.

Are you kidding me? "Not sure though havent checked" and yet you ask "what kind of logic is that?". How about you check and then dare to ask the same question?

The "Slash" and "Thrust" by the left / right clicks describe the action of the move, not the property of the attack. "Slash" meaning to swing the weapon towards an opponent while "Thrust" means to poke at them with the tip of one's weapon.

With a mace, both right and left clicks will primarily cause blunt damage (with certain kinds of maces having additional thrust/slash damage).
With the axe, a Slash move would inflict both slash damage and blunt. (slash due to axe blade and blunt due to the weight/momentum of the heavy head). A Thrust on the other hand would cause primarily thrust damage due to the point of the axehead or spike hitting the opponent with a bit of blunt damage factored in due to the handle.

only if they lacks armor from somewhere like their face, then you can one hit to the face. Where there is plate you can not one hit them with less than 100 blunt damage. It's a game mechanic. If you can it's a glitch or a bug.

does the slash and blunt stack or is it if hit on plate the blunt is dealt and if hit on bare skin/cloth/leather the slash is dealt?

I dunno for axes, but for swords blunt only applies with attacks that use your crossguard/pommel

My assumption would be both slash and blunt damage is applied when you hit, mitigated by the armor's respective resistance to their property. This means that plate would mitigate most of the slash damage while the cloth underneath would blunt... pun intended... the blunt damage dealt by the axehead. Main reason why it's so effective to have layers of armor to all parts of the body.

I think it is only logical considering that mace that has some 50 dmg blunt and 2 slash costs same as axe that has 26 slash and 26 blunt. If the stats dont add up on unarmored oponenent it would make axes practically useless because you could just get mace with twice as much damage.
