Pestilence Quest not finishing (spoilers)

So I got the cure and gave it to the villagers and it said wait for the situation to progress, that was 3 days ago in game and I've already had the bandit heal and bring him to jail etc. Just wondering whether the quest triggering shoudl've triggered yet or not? Basically wondering if it's bugged.

It will take a bit longer for the others. The quest will update automatically. Be patient and do something else instead.

I agree, sometimes the game design raises questions whether it's a bug or part of design. It's a shame, but it has to work until they hopefully develop a game changing patch.

Thanks! Yeah I've had a couple bug out so it's sort of always wondering if it's just waiting to trigger or broken.

Idk for me never updates either, but I have one more of the curing potions that i cant use on anyone so I think it might have a bug. It feels like the further you get into the game the more minor bugs will be in every quest :D

He and that quest are completely broken for me on PC. It auto-fails even though I am doing everything correct (looked at the guides online to be sure after trying 3+ times). Is he working for you?

If I go to Melichor there is no dialogue for anything new. I stil have the remaining remedy potion that I cant give to anyone and the twon is frozen in this quest.

I think this happens when you activate the bandit before that part of the quest finished. shame might have to reaload

stun the guards in the village ( Merhojed ), stun the guy who is guarding that barn door ( if you got the remedy ) you can finish the quest

mine never updated, it was broken. talking to melichar after a few days made the quest finish. but that made the questions and answers main quest break. that whole section of the game is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

When I went back and spoke to the guy the quest finished and he gave me a reward. It sounds like the quest is broken for others though

I am dealing with this too ... made a remedy, gave it to all people, took the bandit into jail and after a while I got update to "check out people from Merhojed" - when I get there, they are still moaning on their beds and nothing changed
