'Ruin' quest impossible?

There's just too many of them and they all run at you at the same time, how do you even beat it without maybe bringing npcs or something if that's possible? The bandit camp one.

I use a bow (123 dmg) with piercing arrows and kill them as they approach me. usually takes 1 or 2 arrows to take down a minion at most. The leader however requires 4 shots to the head. What you can do is use horseback archery on the bandits if your weapons are weak.

once you level up and get decent gear, taking on multiple enemies is easy.
if you have plate armour, most of the enemies will do little to no damage to you.
make sure to target the ones with maces and blunt weapons as they will do a lot of damage

I took down all but one with arrows, and my bow skill is pretty low, capon's bow and piercing arrows. The last one just kept running away, couldn't get him, but the I did bag the leader, which completed the objective.

I enter their area sneaking in from the north, shoot them one by one at a distance, 1-2 arrows each. They didn't come at me all at once, I got a kill before they reacted, only one buddy reacted, killed him before he got far, the leader didn't even activate, so I got him from surprise too. The 4th and last one keeps running and screaming for everyone else to come fight, while fleeing full tilt from the area, heh.

I completed this quest with squad of soldiers, but still a very funny thing happened at the end:
I have this perk, headcracker. So i parry his atack and during riposte i hit his head with a sword handle and the perk worked so he simply knocked out lol.
Same thing happened with wayfaring knight who challeneges you with a duel.

Killed them with horse archery but now some guards want to arrest me for 'shooting at people'? I shot at a poacher whom I thought was a bandit and killed them too. Any idea if the fines apply just in one hold or all over the game? I know I forced the leader to chase me into a village and killed him there?

I hit them at night while they were sleeping, only the guards were armored. I couldn't get into the chest though, and that's where I assume they store their armor.

I usually infiltrate their camp at night with Nighthawk potion and Padfoot potion active, then murder them in their sleep after killing the lookout.

Practice your bow skill a lot. Put a sticker on your screen where the crosshair should be. I'm basically Legolas now.

It is so easy to clear out those camps, just use the bow, learn to aim and account for arrow drop distance, and start plucking them off one by one, hell if you have the horse perk that gives you extra damage for melee and bow weapons while on horseback than you are pretty much set.

Stealth and kill when you can, or a satifsying headshot with the bow does the trick, mind you it's really hard with all that sway, but seeing them drop with an arrow to the head is excellent.
