I thought it was some kind of mitigation using all armor parts charisma score, but according to what you say, it's not like that ^^
I also noticed the big loss when your clothes are dirty, leading me to "repair" armor only to get them clean (bathes are always closed when i want to clean myself ^^).
About the pants, are they identical? I mean perhaps one is Cuman and so leads to a very low charisma toward most people, hence a good charisma score for the pants?
As far as I can tell, yes. They have the same name, icon, price, stats and appearance.
Eaven typ of armor can give positive or negativ Charisma.
For the bavarian chainmail I think it has a negativ effect because the duke of Bavaria was on Sigismunds side.
Bur armor from Nürnberg or Augsburg was sold all over Europe and a lot of Fighters on both sides should wear some armor pices made in those citys.
Interesting. If this is true, it might explaine some of the oddities i've seen. Thanks.
Just tested it with some chainmail head armor, both got same charisma score, are clean and full repaired by myself (to avoid the charisma bonus for repairing), and i end with a difference of 2 points on final charisma score.
So you're right, and i can't explain this difference, so i would be very interested in an answer about this :)
They also have a weighting for charisma per sub-location.
The upper most visible layer is weighted and summed for all charisma values.
If your mail coif covers up your neck, then it will have a different charisma effect than if you have one which covers the neck and upper torso, even if the charisma values are the same.
You may find that some low grade items will show with certain armour overlayed, but be hidden by others (or higher grade under layers hidden or shown).
That's why i tested with both self-repaired items, like i mentioned above ;)
