Kingdom Come Deliverance wont start

just as the title mentioned the game will not start when i press "start" in steam. I have tried verify game files but says everything is there, but interestingly enough when I looked at the game files it seems the exe to run the game is missing and possibly more files are missing im not aware of, idk if im the only one experiencing this problem.

The files that are in the folder are:
Bin - File folder
Data - File folder
Engine - File folder
Localization - File folder
Logbackups - File folder
kcd - Text Document
system.cfg - CFG File
version - Text Document
whdlversions - Text Document

my computer specs are:
OS - Windows 10
CPU - Intel Core i7 5820k @ 3.30GHz
16 gb ram
GPU - MSI GTX 970

I really don't want to have to refund this game becaue i really want to play it if i can fix it but if i can't find a solution i guess I'll have to, if anyone has a fix for it, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It's more than likely your antivirus has deleted it thinking it was a threat.

There are no executables at that level.
Look in bin/win64

What do you mean it wont start?
Are you using the " Play " option?
Or a desktop shortcut?
Right click shortcut run as administrator or in compatibility mode for windows 7.
Go to your control panel all>windows firewall not defender.
Add another program through navigate to steam common kingdom come .exe and add it.
Steam should already be listed there.
Go back to and launch game Play from the desktop shortcut.
Have you disabled GPU accelerated rendering in web view> steam top left>Settings>interface?
Check your gpu drivers are up to date, device manager display adapter.

...\steam\steamapps\common\kingdomcomedeliverance
might tell you what is wrong
