The House of God quest-breaking glitch with Zmola, help?
So Ive progressed to the point where I have to catch Zmola, the quest shows a small zone by the Miller where hes located. The thing is, he isnt there. Ive read guides that say hes outside the Millers, but then after some google searches I found conflicting info.

Apparently this quest has a lot of issues, I found other threads with similar issues but no answers worked for me. One said they found him on the "top level of main building" but he is not there either. Ive scoured every inch of the search zone, and the quest is basically broken at this point, either its a scripting bug or somehow Im looking in the wrong place.

Has anyone done this quest that can help? Where is Zmola?

Be careful with this quest or just ignore it until it gets patched. I had to reaload over and over nad over just to get the guy to show up at the mill. Then after he started showing up at the mill i had to reload over and over again because completing the quest prevents you from saving game and sleeping, and can stick you in infinite loading loops.

This is what happened to me. Wouldnt happen to know how to fix the inability to save would you? Can't play it anymore because of this. Saving just freezes the game completely, no way out (that i know of).
Sorry i haven't been able to find any way around it, completing it just seems break the game. So i'm just shelving KCD until it's patched.

Having the same problem with this quest, it's a mess. Zmola is standing in the Mill, but he doesn't do anything, and I can't talk to him. Leshek isn't anywhere to be found in the Mill. After a few minutes Zmola leaves the Mill, presumably he was supposed to murder Leshek during this time, and I could stop him, but since Leshek appears to be bugged and missing, nothing happens.

The first dozen times, there was nobody at the mill for me. Then eventually Zmola would be carrying Lesheks body away from the mill. He drops the body and attacks me, i kill him, quest notification pops up. As soon as that happens, you won't be able to save anymore, the save drinks won't work either. Also trying to go anywhere or initiate dialogue will lock you in an infinite loading loop.

Best thing to do is load back before you agreed to meet at the scaffolds and ignore the rest of the quest, or wait for it to be patched.

Just found a way that didn't break the game for me. When you can't find Leshek, don't talk to Zmola about it and don't agree to meet under the scaffolding. Go straight to the mill and talk to Leshek, he will tell you it was all Zmola, confront him and kil him.

When you get to the point of stopping Zmola, go talk to the Overseer (head monk) and tell him about your discoveries. He'll send soldiers that go find Zmola for you and kill him. Quest will progress at that point.

There must be a way to time it right to actually do as the quest seems to tell you and find Zmola yourself at the mill as the map says... but I never had it work that way. Probably because I tend to take off and do other stuff while waiting for night time, and only come back a few nights later instead of THAT night you first talk to Zmola?

This worked for me!

My experience with this quest is pretty not fun. I'm at the point of stopping Zmola, and I did, but when I have the opportunity to save Leshek (First aid III) he's just standing in the final room on the top floor of the mill. The only thing I can do with Leshek is Mercy kill him. I've tried to kill him via normal means, bows, swords, unarmed, but he just dances around the room until bleed out or mercy kill.

When I got to the point where I had to stop Zmola I found him walking south with an unconcious Leshesk. Zmolda was no longer in the search area the quest tells you about but already next to the house south of the main building of the mill. Also a tip to get there faster: You can jump down from the scaffolding by gooing through the holes of the ladders (except the long ladder at the very top) without injuring yourself.
