Can you use the witch potion on enemies?

So, just did the dance with the devil quest or whatever it was called and at th end I stole the witch potion recipie from the witch. Can you use this like poison in cookpots of enemies? Would be pretty hilarious if you could turn an enemy camp into a bunch of hallucinating crazies.

Didn't the herbalist say it was an ointment with datura flower and herb-paris? The latter can be found in the game. But haven't seen datura while roaming around.

I don't think it does anything if used on enemies or npc's at all. didn't do anything when I smacked a knight with my sword coated in it at least

its not datura its Marigold, Paris and Belladonna with Oil

i tried it and put witch poision in bandit camp while they're asleep, 2 dips in their food and 1 dip in the wine. they ate and nothing happened to the bandits.

apply it to arrows? so far there is no 'confusion' debuff in this game that works on the AI that turns them against one another.

I feel like it needs to be used during some witch craft stuff in the game. I just drank the damn thing while standing in the middle of a circle of mushrooms. Nothing happened... I found potion on a dead witch... she’s an accident on map dead person with a broom and witch stuff on her including potion... I should have drank it at the witch death site, I should go back and do that, I think it was between Rattay and neuhof... was thinking maybe using witch potion where witch craft is amidst that maybe something would happen but this is my first attempt and it’s a trippy one to start
