Why such terribly long load times?

Load times, even for cut scenes, are upwards of 30-40 seconds. Why?

Probably because you don't have an ssd or some other parts of your PC is low end.

Running with an AMD FX8370BE and GTX 1080. No game I've got or ever had takes 40 seconds to load a dialog screen.

You're either lying or your SSD is inferior to a hard drive. My HDD loads cutscenes in 10 secs.... 7200 rpm seagate.

i only had this issue in the "tutorial" wich is really long and ends when you get knocked out and rescued after this i had no loading when i talk to someone

I have it on SSD as well, and sometimes, it works instantly, but than when like i eat out of a pot or wash myself in a barrel outside, it can suddenly take like 30 seconds, and the loading icon does not go red until the last seconds. This only happens after i just slept.

No long loading times here. X5675 @4.4*GHZ, 20GB ram, SSD and the 970.
I've noticed the game makes use of CPU's 6 cores

Try giving the graphics setting a notch down, that did wonders for me, and i dont see much difference tbh

iam on high, execpt for shadows,particles,light,volumetric stuff on medium off course motion blur disabled.......

i7 7700k
32gb Ram Wich only 8bg get used in total (but page size aka virtual memory get up to 13gb)

Switched entire game to SSD and that seems to make a big difference.

Have no issues with AC:O - instant loading screens, etc on HDD, not SSD.

I had no problems until the Zmola quest. After finding Lescheck Ive got huge loading times even for washing myself. Sometimes even infinite loading screens.

I play this game for few weeks, but today long loading times started. I am really confused why this started happen and it makes me angry.
