Ludicrious Inn Prices!
For being a game based roughly on Reality why are the INN prices so damn high?

a few nights is 250 groshans?! seriously?! thats a HUGE amount of money for some simple lodging.

Inns in medival times were not expensive compared to other goods and services... because by and large most people (all the commoners) had very little money. A farmer heading to town to sell his goods at the market certainly couldnt afford to spend everything he made selling produce on a single night at the inn.

Think the devs should really balance this totally out of whack cost for lodging

Yeah. Wow. That's an insane price. You can buy several swords or a nearly full kit of armor for that price.

A more reasonable sum would be a coin or two a night.

1 night at a lodge is only 2 groschan....
Damedius Feb 16, 2018 @ 7:57am
It's probably permanent lodging for that inn but I could be wrong. I always just go with the one night option.

About what I was thinking... big difference in "a few days" versus 2 weeks...

I've slept for 6 groschen without haggling. Not sure in what kind of castle you slept.
Cajun Rabbit Feb 16, 2018 @ 8:14am
This was the Inn at Sasau, nothing special about it, not in the castle... asked to stay a few nights, price is 250 Groshan.

ill admit about the fortnight thing i was wrong on that... but so what... the point still stands.

250 groshan for 3 nights is outrageous!

for comparison, i was only paid 40 groshan for wiping out a bandit camp and bringing back proof of the deed.
Driverben Feb 16, 2018 @ 8:16am
I've never spent more than 2 at any of the inns i've stayed at.... No haggling either.

I'm with the others. I have paid 2 groschen for all my inn stays for one night.

It does make me think that 250 groschen should be full residency for the length of the game. Because that price is 125 nights worth at the single night rate.

perhaps when you ask to stay a "few nights" that means permanent residency... i dont know because i wasnt about to pay that much money for some sleep lol.

Edit: ive never had to use an Inn before, as ive always either found a bed, stole some sleep in someone elses bed, or was at my own.

If it's that much more, I could understand a more permanent spot. Because, damn. Haha

Good to know at least!

Stealing sleep in other beds does not trigger a save to happen though. It has to be an owned bed or one paid for at an inn.

True, but its usually cause i need a boost of energy, and i always have plenty of Saviour Shnapps on me anyway... im usually hovering around 200-300 groshans, but ive always got a few Shnapps on me.
