Act 2 date confirmed yet?
So just beat the story of KCD act 1 and was wondering on the time line for Act 2. Has WHS (War Horse) made an offical announcement anywhere?

I know act 3 is based on how this one goes but I do know they did confirm that we are getting act 2. Also will it be a DLC update that we need to buy or will it be free? Will our characters stats and influance in the world carry over to the second part, or will it take place in Northen Bohimia, or somewhere else, so be seperate?

I dont want speculations, plenty of forums out there, this is more for the DEVs.

SIDE NOTE: Will there be harder difficulties added? About the third fight in i got used to it and never died again, and about 5 hours in, i started to win every fight without taking any damage and felt god like, which you guys said was going to be removed in this game :(


EDIT: So there seems to be alot of confusion out there on the acts. This is what the last update from the Dev team says about the acts. Act 1 and Act 2 are the first game, they are the SAME GAME. Its just been so long and its so big they split it up. Act 3, which is not confirmend its only an idea, would be KCD2 and it would be a NEW game, in the same world. The events that took place in this game happend over 50 years and could be made into a whole series if WHS gets enough backing.

Qmotion, I wholeheartedly agree. The PC version (don't own a console so cannot comment on the playability) is nowhere near finished. Don't get me wrong, what you can play is fantastic and I commend Warhorse for thinking outside the box of normal RPG games. But please for the love of Bohemia, lets get this Act in a playable state before they start thinking about selling ACT 2 or any DLC.

Im not asking for another game im asking for the rest of this game which is in development. Man you people need to learn to read. The second half of the story IS act 2. And they are already working on it as it was part of this Act, but it got too big so they split them.

And yes there are a lot of bugs, but I am on my 3rd playthrough and have only come across 1 game breaking bug, and save reload fixed it. Honestly most of the bugs are cosmetic and of little importance to me. Id rather they keep working on Act 2 and when that comes out they patch the bugs with the first Act.

I have 50 hours and encountered no bugs, and obviousy people are able to finish the game all the way through.

I'd say thats pretty playable. No need to exxagerate. They just need to bug fix.

I suspect it's a bit out of date but the kickstarter page says act two would be 9 months after act one and act three another 9 months after that. Given the game was delayed and includes acts one and two...who knows.
