Not sure about their items. I think they keep the stuff i sell to them, but change their other inventory.
But I think the shops have different items for each town.
I'm sitting on tons of stolen goods, but all the millers are at 0 gold right now
as for how long, no idea. i want to say a day or two? and if you are having troubles with stolen goods just store them in your chest at home and wait. eventually they become regular goods you can sell. idk how long this process takes but i would bet it takes longer the more an item is worth. because i have had a stolen cuirass for almost a week now and it still counts as stolen.
and i don't have concrete proof on item restocks but i stole the "piercer" off of the rattay weaponsmiths wall rack (convinced the guard to look the other way to get it for free) and then when my lockpicking was high enough i went into his storeroom and stole everything and he had another "piercer" so i think they do restock their inventory with their default inventory but i don't know how long it takes. i just stole nearly everything the armorer and tailorer were selling so i'll let you guys know if they restock all the stuff i stole.
I've noticed after I sell an item to them, it gets added to their trade menu 5 minutes later but not instantly. But at least each town and trader has some different things.
eh i just think it stinks because once you buy their best gear you only ever visit them for repairs or buying repair kits. so i agree because there's never a reason to re visit them. it will just be the same stuff.
also lower replayability since you know you will most likely end up using the same weapon if you use the same weapon class for a second playthrough.
LOL wow, what are you selling to him? Any farming tips? I'm sorta broke.
Thats not gonna help you much tho. As most of the stuff you can buy in Rattay, Henry cant even make use of until somewhat later in the game.
His strength is too low to carry the armors and his other skills are too low to use the weapons.
A bit of randomization would do the vendors good, but on the other hand, both vendors have their respective smiths in a building over, so it's somewhat realistic to assume, that they always order the same high quality stuff from the smith.
