Gifts for Theresa

When I use the option, "I've brought you something..." what am I giving her? I had a different option for flowers when I had those from a quest, and I know there are dresses for sale in shops, but right now I don't have anything that seems like a gift for her. I'm also not getting any message about something being removed from my inventory when I use the dialog option, so it's hard to tell whats happening.

You can gift her Alcohol or shiny things like Rings.
I gave her silver rings... she was happy with that :)

Yeah. Like wine or beers in your inventory I think. I looted a silver ring and gave that too her, but one time I gave her jewelry when I'm pretty sure I had none on me. It'd be nice to have a "you parted with ####" so you knew exactly what happened.

I tried this conversation with different gifts in my inventory and I'm pretty sure you don't actually lose any gift item. Her replies were different with ring or dress but they still remained in my inventory. I think gifts may be bugged.

The only thing that really disappears from the inventory is "Flowers for Klara", which have their own dialog option just to show how <3ing smooth our boi Henry is.

More importantly, does gifting serve any kind of purpose at all? Seems there are three "quests" with her and that's it. Don't think gifts change any of the quests, so what's the point

Yeah, what is the point of giving someone you owe your life to a nice thing once in a while, without even getting more than a thank you; no really, gifts should make the person obliged to you, because it really is pointless to give anything to your friends without expecting a reward.
