All I did was shoot him in the face with a bow, when he dismounted I rode ahead a bit to give me time to get my bow out, and it took 1 better hunting arrow to win.

Drop your torch if you are holding one, it lowered my longsword attack from 115 to 90 and once I got rid of it I beat him without a scratch.

He had me beat before I got off my horse. the 3rd reload I followed untill we were on a farm with flat, even terrain, when he got off his horse, I ran a cross the field to buy myself time to get down and put my guard up. Even then, I dont think I woulda won without plate helm and sholders plate (only missing chest and legs and feet.) and a giant b. astard sword.
I had a glitch the 3rd time, where he picked up his sword and started swinging at me when I said he could stand up, I was still loading in when he started swinging. So the 4th time, I did the field thing again, except once he was on his knee, I grabbed his sword. The cut scenes loaded just fine from then on, were friends now.

I just shot his face with an arrow before the fight started because i already knew he was gonna attack me

I stealth killed him in the pub, looted him and road out of town before the guards got there, after stashing the gear did my jail time and went about my day.

I chased him into the forest open horseback, and, onpar with the game wanting to ♥♥♥♥ me. Right where he gets off, there happens to be 3 soldiers and 2 archers there waiting for me. Managed to kill them all at the same time. So I'm sure just the old bastard by himself would be a cakewalk. I'm not that good, just playing defence while the archers shot them in the back.

Same here I chased him down and chopped his horse, horse fell dead and I could step off my horse and continue the fight on foot, he surrendered after I touched him once with my Herod sword ;) easy fight
