Wrong Controls on Controller

using an xbox one controller. i cant jump, dpad only opens inventory on all directions. also tried on a ps4 controller, same problem. any solutions?

I dunno, i use DS4windows for my dualshock4 and i changed the controls which didn t fit to me...everything s working fine except the controls you see ingame are the xbox controls but there's nothing we can do about that.

Im having the same issues!! My sensitivity is also extremely low and for some reason when I turn it stutters as if its running in 15 fps yet my pc is maintaning a solid 50-60fps at nearly all times. I've been so frustrated because Im sure combat feels much nicer on a controller.

Controller is very good in this kind of games. The only thing i do with mouse and keyboard is lockpiking. Try the DS4windows software for PS4 controllers, it s working fine for me. But you are right sensitivity is a bit low even maxed in the settings but it s fine.

I can play with the xbox one controller without a problem, as the op mentioned when I use the ps4 controller I can't use jump and all D-Pad directions open the inventory, I guess I have to try ds4windows because I prefer the DS4 controller.

i have a solution! :)

start the pig picture mode go to the the game (kingdom comes) and the submenu: manage game, controll conficuration, and then press the square button on ps4 for brows configs, community.

now you have 3 layouts. take the second layoaut from mr. plastic and now you can jump with square an change mele weapnon with digipad left and bow with digipad right.

many thanks at mr. plastic for his commuinty layout!

so you don't need any third programm like xpadder or so.

If you are just using a Xbox Controller, you could also turn the "Steam-Configuration for non Steam Controller" to "allways off" (Don't know what the actual name of the setting is, because my Steam client is set to German) in big picture mode under Manage game -> Steam Controller -> Controller Settings. This solved the problem for me

Good to know. Also to note you can access controller setting without opening big picture. On right side of game page the option is listed under guides and all that.

Technically it opens just the controller portion of big picture. Can confirm it works without big picture launched as well.
