In god's hands quest help
So Apparently I'm meant to help more than the Insomniac and Semek (the purple flower guy). I've helped the inasomniac, gotten the supplies, given Johanka the meat but I can't talk to any of the other wounded in the infirmary! Every time I hand the comfry to Semek it automatically ends the quest for me, failing the objective and Johanka gets pissed because people died! Who the eff else is there to help? There's no one else I can talk to or find and I'm at a loss.

I found a 'guide' that shows who to help (some guy named Hans, philip and a dude with a broken leg) but I can't find them. Can anyone help me out?

Link is to the guide.

Ok, I might have found out why we can't complete the quest. I loaded a save all the way back to when you wake up at Theresa's hut and then ran all the way to Sasau (that was fun btw...) and loo and behold the three guys where there.

What I think they have done is set a max time within which they are still alive, so if for example you don't get to Sasau within the first 20 days (not the actual time, just a guess) they will be dead.

My actual character had 43-44 ingame days before i even reached Sasau, whereas the save character i loaded up only had 4-5 days.

This seems completely retarded, but it's the only explanation I can come up with. Here's a link to a picture I took with all 5 treatable NPC's.

I'm at the same point, I originally thought that I had to brew a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of lazarus potions to either give to the wounded or hand over to Johanka, but nope. Time to look through all of Sasau I guess...

Ok, so I honestly think this quest is bugged, notice the three other unoccupied beds. I'm 99,99% sure the 3 characters you mention are supposed to be lying in those beds. It always stood out to me, but i only really thought about it after looking around Sasau for a bit.

Yep, I realised that is what must have happened as well. Oh well, guess I'm not completing that ques this playthrough as it pisses me off because they were already missing when I got the quest. She shouldn't be mad at me for not saving them when they weren't there when I picked the quest up. I think that should be taken into account personally.

I do remember that at least one of the wounded was dying on me if I did not cure him in time, which makes sense.
Whether the clock is running from the beginning of the game (which would make sense in terms of it being more realistik) or after receiving the quest (which would make more sense for a video game) I can not say.
I would note that I took quite some time to get to Sasau and it did not mess things up but maybe waiting even longer makes a difference.

That might make sense but when you need speak with someone who was new there and he only lies on bed and your choices are only rob him.... well that not make sense..

I just went back to play it again after the update, and prior to that update I was doing "In God's Hands" and felt as if it was time sensitive to find father simon, so off I went. Only, when I returned to play the game and set the patients bone, the patient who's bone I had to set had disappeared. He was there prior.

So it looks like this quest needs you to use a bit "harsh treatment". I talked with everyone and attended to their needs but there was this one dude that i couldn't talk to, the dude named Hans. Then I just went ahead, saved the game and knocked him out (you know, strangling him while crouching) and whoosh! "Quest completed, tell Johanka you can't help anymore." Then of course there were guards on my ass but with my high charisma stats I just talked them out, even if you don't have high charisma its like 80 golds or some ♥♥♥♥. And yeah, now I have -100 reputation with the monks but who cares about them anyway lmao.

I learned how to set the leg and the guy has disappeared (but marker still on him), Philip died, AND the stablemaster at Talmberg pouts in his doorway and won't let me interact with him to start the horse race.

what a stupid mission

Never had any issue with this quest. I did it twice, in my two playthroughs, and nobody died. The timer starts when you take the quest from Johanka, not before. I had maxed out First Aid perks each time i did it. There are 5 people you need to help :
- Semek, for which you need to find a purple flower (comfrey);
- Hans, who needs bandages for his wounds;
- Thomas with the broken leg, which you need to set right;
- Insomniac, for which you can craft / buy a sleeping potion (Lullaby);
- Philip, who is in fact poisoned, and is the most serious of those cases. For saving him you need to do quickly another quest "A man of the Cloth", since the antidote (Artemisia potion) is known only by Father Simon who needs rescuing from brigands.
Do the above, and you're all set. Having First Aid maxed out will help since you will be able to do the leg thing and the bandaging alone, without wasting time.
Also come prepared with food (100 meat) and convince the Custodian to help - either speech or bribe.

Maybe the latest patches introduced some new bugs though.

I failed twice because both times I didn't know there was a timer. Just a simple indication would've been nice as I was constantly distracted by the many other things I could do in and around Sasau.

I'm struggling with this in my second playthrough (hardcore mode) and i got to do that quest way earlier than before, i have only 2 people there, the sleeper guy and the purple flower guy. It's weird since someone said that he got there right after spawning into the main world at the beginning tho. I doubt they're died tho bc the time when i got there can't be later than the time i got there in the first playthrough.

IMO u're supposed to do this quest when you're investigating those recruiters before the last battle. The quest where u either get to murder/help the guy in the church (painful part of the game but eventually quite enjoyable) by becoming a monk so u pass the test and join their army OR there's an optional way which is to help Johanka and that was when i had all 5 people there to cure instead of just 2. I still failed bc the quest with finding Simon glitched af when i found him. This really is annoying part of the game and in hardcore mode u save a lot less then u should so im giving up on it, maybe in the next playthrough i'll do it if get the nerves for it. )

What i really don't like tho is that they still give u an option to do all those other parts (hunting and ♥♥♥♥) of the quest even tho u're still gonna fail. The line where the description says that all of them died is in between all those other text lines and it doesn't indicate at all that it has an impact on the whole quest bc all those other lines talking about supplies, and those patients which u're helping at that moment make u feel like the quest is still going well.

Although when i told her they died it still completed but for now idk if that's gonna have any impact on the game in the future. Lost rep with her but it's not classified as failed.
