Poisons
So I figured out how to make poisons and how to coat my weapons and whatnot, but my question is how does poisoning a cauldron work. I poisoned a bandit camp's cauldron then used the wait function and when I finished some of them were dead but not all. This I understand but I used the wait function again and the bodies disappeared. Is that supposed to happen, or is that a glitch? Can I not wait for a certain amount of time or else the bodies disappear?

How do you make poison or where to get a recipe or where to buy the poison?

You can make a poison that almost gurantees a kill called bane's potion, you can look it up on the wiki, and as for buying poisons apparently poisons show up on the alchemists sometimes when their stock changes

Hmm - I tried using poisons in a bandit camp pot...I even put 5 poisons in it..yet none of the bandits died. Wonder if it is bugged?

You can learn almost all alchemy recipes by robbing the Witch/ Herbalist woman NW of Ledechko. She has her shop items in an easy locked chest in her hut.

only one poison of the same type will take effect and if its the normal one that only causes 50 pointsd of damage then that will not kill them only reduce their health

Yeah I figured it out mostly, if they ingest the poison that you just put into the food then it affects them instantly, I experimented with some different potions to see what would happen. The lullaby potion looks like it just makes them try to go to sleep, the dollmaker potion (which I thought would paralyze them due to the description) didn't look like it did anything. Maybe it just made them slow down, I'm not sure. The bane potion is a guaranteed kill after some time, the normal poison just weakens them. The next potion I want to try is the witch potion which I'm thinking might make them become delusional and make them fight each other like the fury spell in skyrim.

Do potions in cauldrons work in any cauldrons that people eat out of or just cuman camps? I put a few lullaby potions in the castle cauldron and the women mixing the food takes a taste every time she mixes it but didn't seem to affect her. I didn't witness anyone actually sit down and eat from it though

So why would you use bane potion on innocent inkeepers and bar maids? lmfao

they die just fine when they go to the pot and get some food from it. Same for their wine sacks.

I haven't come across anyone selling poisons or the ingredients at any vendor (besides Belladonna) I haven't found henbane in the wild either. Where does it grow?

I'm not really sure where it grows, but if you go to an alchemist table then you can look at all the known herbs and it'll tell you what it's usually used for and where it usually grows.

A bane potion needs 2 belladonna, 1 fly agaric, and 1 wormwood (either 2 belladonna; 1 wormword or vice versa).

Yeah thanks. I watched a vid on the recipe but I'll go and check the description of henbane to see where it grows
