wolflin von kamberg and his men

hi,
i have some questions regarding the quest around wolflin von kamberg.
i managed to kill him in a duel after which his men started attacking me.
since they were too many i retreated to the rest of my party.
now i have returned to the bandit camp to loot wolflin and kill the rest under the cover of darkness.
my problem is that they always seem to notice when i try to stun or backstab someone, even when i lure them away from the camp.
i can move around very close to them (even without sneaking) without them noticing me, but somehow they always notice the backstabbing?
also some of them seem to be immune to backstabbing or stunning.
is that a matter of skill?

edit:
also i tried walking into the camp wearing wolflins outfit but they attacked me anyway.
apparantly they dont buy into all these horror stories about him ;)

Any idea how to start that quest? After the Bathouse quest with Hans, i can't find him anywhere, and i suppose he's the one to trigger the quest?

maybe try the tavern?
thats where i found him.
but u can also see him walk the streets on occasion

That's right, thanks.

I've found him and eventually done the quest, even though everytime i killed wolflin on duel i'd end up killed by his men, so i eventually had to fail in parlay and return to bernard and fight them on group. I guess this was the best way to do it.
