Has someone managed to poison the food or torch the arrows without being aggroed from the camp? For me its seem as if the guards always automatically get allerted and target me even if im out of sight quick enough. I understand that having a burning barrel of arrows in the middle of the night is certainly suspicous. But having the guard know my exact position just because i slipped some poison in the cooking pot seems a bit weird.

So bug or not? Has anyone done this part of the questes without the game behaving in such weird ways?

I'm currently on it - I've managed to poison the food in the back of the camp.
There is a backentrance you can use at night to sneak in - dont forget to take of all armor.

However I struggle to light up the arrows and poison the other pot. Will try to get my hands of an enemy's uniform next and just walk into the camp.

Well obviously im playing the game as intended just saying. Snuck into that back entrance to the Cuman camp and took a stroll through the camp disguised as Cuman. Its just that using the poison on the cooking pot somehow aggroes the camp. Even if i get out of the camp before anyone notices me and Im already outside of the entire encampment they will still aggro and magically find me. Doesnt matter which pot i try to poison.

Anyways, I think you need to poison all the pots, and burn all the arrows. Since when you continue with just the barrel and the pot that you find at the back entrance you can tell Radzig that you sabotaged the camp but after ending the converastion the game will promt you that you failed at it. There is a qual number of poison flasks as cooking pots to be found in the camp.

Idk it all seem awfully bugged to me.

Where did you get your Cuman disguise? I can't seem to find any Cumans outside that camp now that I actually need one.

The Cuman armor is at the back entrance of the Cuman camp. Its in a chest inside the hut. When you enter from outside the camp on the right side. I dont think that there are any Cumans patrolling at daytime, so that might be the only way to get a disguise.

its bugged for me. i get the armor from the chest at the back entrance. then 2 guards run from 100 meters direct to me and attack. nobody has seen me and nobody heard my lockpicking. just these 2 guards from 100m away.....

Yeah it has been very similiar for me with the guards. Ive tried to most rediculius hidiing places and they always know. Meanwhile there is a guard looking at me sneaking by 5m ago and doesnt notice me.

I havent counted the arrow barrels to be fair, but its 4 cooking pots and 4 poison flasks you can find. I would assume its 2 of each for each part of the camp.

How does the impersonation work in this game? I killed a group of cumans out in the woods and tried wearing their armor but the ones in the camp still noticed I wasn't cuman. It was even one of the ornamental helmets that covers your face. After spending a lot of time trying to sneak around I ended up going in the back entrance and just running really fast to all of the arrows to light on fire and then running away. I only had the one poison I found in the camp which doesn't seem to be enough to trigger the optional poisoning part of the quest.

i got the bandits to let me in, then i set fire to the arrows and bolted

Im not sure how exactly it works. Maybe the armor pieces you find in the chest are somehow flagged to trigger certain npc reaction in camp. But even other npc outside the camp have recognised me as Cuman wearing that so I dont know. Just get the one you find in the chest if you really wanna to the infiltrate thing.

Its interesting that you can have the bandits let you in aswell. So there are several ways to get aroound the camp. But then when you try to sabotage its just bugged. Im still waiting for anyone that played the quest as 'intended' and infiltrated the camp poisoned all the food and torched all the arrows and got away unnoticed.

Also it seems at least as if those things dont make a diference at all. But maybe you can just take a bunch of soldiers and take the camp if you poison all the food and burn all the arrows, leave most of the forces in their original localtions and there will be no raid on the other stable then.

I almost succes to do that , i just fail at the last Coking pot ^^

You need to do some stealth kill , and after on the bandit camp i uses a glicht ( the ladder ) allow me inside the church, i kill one guard, so every body come into but don't see me , after i go back and burn the arrow and poisoning food

Yeah but using glitches, sprinting in and doing all this while u have 10 people chase after you, etc is not playing it as intended.

I also thought maybe if there are some hard skillchecks in the game. So if youre not going down the thief aproach and have really high stealth/agility the game wont let you do these things.

idk guys when i did it there were cumans patrolling during night and day and i just sneaky stabbed one and got his armor i then walked into the camp at night when most of them sleep and poisoned both pots when no one was looking which is crucial bc they can see you putting smth in the pot. after that i just left and waited outside until their next lunch and heared all those sweet screams. After all cumans died i just killed one who was stil sleeping and then burned the arrows. same thing with the bandits. But be aware if you are disguised as cuman some cumans will be suspicous of you and start talking with you. if your stats are high enough you can sell them 3 times that you are a cuman and at the 4th time they will attack you so better get all you stuff done before that. and btw it makes no real difference if you kill everyone in the camp as i did bc enemies will just spawn for the big battle with razig.

Interesting. Ive tried the same thing. Nobody is in line of sight but still someone comes running from somewhere and magically knows I just dumped some poison in the pot. Sounds a lot like some hard skill checks to me. I havent developed the steath skill alot so..
