Nightingale quest bugged?

It's the one from Rattay where you have to capture the birds. I trapped them but everytime I try and talk to the quest giver it breaks the game, he gives me the 55 groschen and the arrows but the dialogue just doesn't move on and I get stuck and have to restart the game. Anyone else getting this?

I finished it last night. Try reloading older save, redo the quest, go to sleep and then meet with a quest giver, when he's standing in the yard

Oh man, I'd lose so much progress if I went back to the save before I got that quest ;\

Do you have any timeframe where he goes to the yard? Noon, Dawn, afternoon? I have this quest too and stuck also like the OP. those birds are heavy too and if it won't work until the next patch, I may have to just store the birds for now.

He was for me in the yard, tried it 3 times but this bug keeps occurring.

I have this issue too. Have tried to finish it maybe 20 times. Changed the place, the time but the game still chrash when he gives me the reward :-(

Game bugged differently for me. When I was trying to catch all three birds, on last one I put cage down wait a few minutes, and when bird got caught cage disappeared, but the marker is still there I just can't see it and can't pick it up :(

Yep I read yout issue before so I tried placing one by one, moved further a bit to hunt some rabbits, come back immediately and the bird is caught. Repeated process to the other two and got all of them.

But turning in them birds is a pain as others have said the conversation will just halt after giving you the reward and you have to End Prcoess to the game at that point. The birds are also heavy and you can't store them to storage so yeah this bug is really annoying. I wonder how many quest are still in alpha stages,

I hope I don't get the bug of your horse disappearing forever. That would make me rage <_<

I can't turn in the quest since it doesn't recognise that I've trapped the birds. :(

Same here, turned in the birds and the quest got stuck after receiving the reward. Any news from devs would be greatly appreciated.

In 2 weeks they said, probably because of consoles that it will take that long, for parity and stuff. Hopefully it won't break anymore quest after the patch, or God forbid will require a new game due tio incompatibility issues.

Same issue occuring here, within cutscene I receive the Groschens the Arrow rewards and then cutscene won't continue, just both of them stuck there looking at each other.

Exact same bug. Henry keeps staring at the quest giver at the moment he receives the groschens and the arrows. It's very annoying because my last save is in the nightingale forest before being attacked by the same four bandits while I have only half of my health.
