Tough Love Quest Glitch

I just started the Tough Love quest where you need to interact with the weeping woman outside the exectutioners house, then go talk to the executioner. The problem is as soon as the executioner sees me, he immediately draws his sword and my only way to end combat is to kill him, which fails the quest.

Every time he attacks me the game gives me the tip about reputation, and since my rep is fine with the locals, I can only assume he's angry about me knocking him out for an earlier quest (even though he never saw me). If anyone else has encountered this and found a fix please let me know. Its a side quest so its not urgently important, but its still pretty annoying.

Same problem. I even killed him earlier but he is alive again lol. Anyway when i try to talk with him he attacks me.

Had the same issue killed him in the ring quest, he came back and attacked me right of in town as well so all the guards joined him i mean come on he attacked me first. (This time but last time he died so it shouldn't count) anyways just kept spamming G and then they stopped and i was able to talk to him again

Killed or not killed during miller ring quest, if executioner attacks you on sight:

1. Put everything you own in the chest by your bed
2. Hit a civilliann on the street in the town
3. Accept being arrested by G and go to jail
4. Wait till 7 days of prison pass or do GoT's shame shame shame if you can
5. Profit

Exactly the same problem.
I ended up having to kill him because my Stealth and Lockpicking sucked, but when I come back to that place, he's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ alive and well, attacking me with bare hands on first sight.
Despite being fully armored, wielding a sword and a shield I mashed the G key to try to surrender but to no avail.
Then I had to knock him out again. I really hope this gets fixed.

If the Executioner attacks you just let him knock you unconcious this removes agro. Also he will path out of the trespassing area to speak with the crying woman which should give you a chance to speak with him without agro'ing him.

I let that guy use me as a punching bag for 10 minutes and that seemed to do nothing. Seems the dead hit like flies. Anyone else have an option that actually works?

worked for me he knocked me out and i was able to speak with him
