Also, what's the differense between normal and small repair kits?
Check different smiths, the town blacksmith might not be able to fix chainmail armor, but the armorer in Rattay certainly can.
1. If your armor/clothing is below 60% you can only repair it at either armor merchants for armor and at tailor for clothing.
2. At 60% and up you can use smithing/tailoring kits to repair it yourself with some exceptions apparently.
So if that's intended even for players with maintanance at 20 like myself it changes the way of playing. First of all when comapring armor/clothing pieces you not only check defensive values but max durability of said pieces, you can find let's say better helmet defensively but it's max durability may be lower than the one you have now at which point you need to decide what's more important to you. Also perk Well Groomed from Maintenance skill seems to be a must if you don't want to spend fortune on repairs.
@Haldi Difference between normal and small repair kits is number of uses before it vanishes.
