Free Top Tier Armor and Weapons Location in Early Game

I randomly stumbled on a small camp next to a road with no one around and a chest full of the best armor and weapons in the forest just north of Neuhof while looking for the coal burning camps in the mission Ginger in a Pickle. None of the equipment is considered stolen too.

It kind of feels like cheating but its really made the game more interesting as everyone treats me like a king now. Also interested to hear if anyone else has found this

Same here, however I already had plate armor because I murdered a traveling knight and through him in the river.
