You can also sell stolen goods to alot of normal vendoors But then you will have to haggle about what they are gonna give you for it. It also depends on your speech skill and relationship with that city if they want to buy stolen goods off you.
Ive noticed that stolen items that you have put in your horses backpack will never lose stolen symbol.
And the more expensive the item, the longer it will take before the stolen symbol is gone.
Things with a price of around 700-900 wil lose it in about 3-4 days playtime (meaning sleeping does not count).
I have a Milanese birgande (worth +2k). Ive had it in my backpack for about 7 days now and still its stolen. I dont really need the money for it (have 17k) but i want to see how long it takes for it too lose the stolen symbol.
Miller Peshek for me has about 2.4k gold. I do believe the more you trade with an npc merchant the more wealth poole they gain. Not sure how true this is but Peshek is definately up there now..
Where as the sword and armor smith in Rattay have like 17k wealth for me now XD
