Report a translation problem
I haven't mapped the 'edges' of this, as I like to watch them eat and then move in later, so don't see it failing, but this is the 'shape' of the problem I might expect to see if I were to do so.
If you drop the poison, then wait for the ennemies to eat from the cauldron (night sentries eat at 6, day enemies at 8 ; also later but cannot be more precise) WITHOUT skipping time or reloading a save, then they'll die 1-2 minutes after having put their empty bowl on the pile. :-)
Still puzzled at why it didn't work the first time. Oh well...
