HELP, i cant unlock the quest "hare hunt"

when i talk to the tanner nicolas (think thats his name) theres no option to unlock it help.

Got that too....Seems you have to progress the Skill Level a bit further, then try it ok?
(skill level maybe? Hows your "Hunting" level? (hint hint)....

my main level is maxed at 19 idk about my hunting level, did you ever get the quest?

yep, and I do believe its tied to Hunting skill, as you catch up to poachers by Hunting? This time around Im not Hunting so much (5th time) and its not giving me the Hunt either. SO..Im gonna do more Hunting, Get the level up, and see if it works(should)
its a paced game, ya cannot rush it, (like any other RPG too)

i went hunting my skill is now 8 i cant unlock it yet, but one important thing is when you hunt any anilmal taking the meat from it acually improves your skill you can just drop the meat if you dont want it, if you go to hunting skill the info says its based on the meat you take.

I believe the quest wont begin untill another quest is complete and triggers it. I think its the quest for Lady Stephanie.

I pissed OFF the Huntsman, (by trying to rob the dude) and now he won't Train me.. LOL) did I break that story line? (ah well 5th time playthrough, been there did the Huntsman thing)

Lol yeah my last play through i sided with the huntsman and wanted to do it again on the side of Hare. But the quest wasn't available. So i did the quest for lady stephanie and then i was able to start the quest. Could be wrong though.

Are you playing an old game? Prior to 1.5 i couldn't speak to her when she was praying. But i started a new game with 1.5 and now i can. It might be trouble with the patch not being compatible with your old save game....in which case i would use that playthrough for fun and just muck around...

you can't do that quest after Vranik becuse certain things in Talmberg make it impossible for you to do that quest.

theres a direct conflict with trying to continue the game in the 1.5 update I found out, yaa gotta start a new game if you Updated it during a 1/2 played game...
