Best Loot in the game - So easy to get everytime!
After escaping Skalitz, there will be bandits fighting at the front gates, near the fast travel point every time you return. These bandits are strong and carry some of the best loot in the game: armor, weapons, clothes, etc. The recommended way to kill these bandits early on is to obtain a horse and bow-and-arrow them at a distance till they drop dead. Be wary, at a low health, these bandits will sometimes stop midtrack and stop attacking. They may disappear.

If you really want to cheese your way through Skalitz, just hop up a ledge and plink with arrows. Even if your aim sucks after 80 arrows you should be able to take down 4-5 Knight-Bandits no sweat. Take their armor. Rinse and repeat.

The best way early on is to steal everything from the weaponsmith and armourer but you must have the lockpicking mod for that

You don't even have to fight the bandits. Just go there and watch the guards kill the bandits, then go loot the bodies.

Kinda game-breaking, as it removes the early game cash struggle.

Well, it depends how you want to play it of course, for me it is already difficult enough to fight 3 or more cumans with ordinary armour

You can do that but usually those guys don't have the best loot.

Haaaaail naw, no one can fight for ♥♥♥♥ in this game. The AI is overpowered, Bow and arrow on a horse solves that.

That's very true but I want to be as genuine as possible without being a criminal in the game.

Exactly. Didn't know you can go on a ledge.

The game take place at the time when the Holy Roman Empire had a Raubritter problem so that's why the bandits wear so many German armor and weapons and to some degree are accurate.

Which is amazing how the game incorporates that. The historical accuracy is on par.

Oh great now you've peaked my interest. Is there a book or list of topics I can look up on this robber-knights?

I'm having difficulty visulizing this. Is there video available of the "lootable" bandits?
I didn't look.

All you have to do is go back to Skalitz, in the town center there'll be Bandits vs someone fighting. You'll have about 30 seconds before the fight is decided then it's often 4-5 Bandits in full plate armor versus you. Sometimes the guards win (Don't loot the dead guards...) and you can casually loot the dead Bandits, Cumins etc.

I'm sorry I'm so dense... at what point does this happen? Before or after the Runt scene?
