this guide gives you the total breakdown on cost and benefits. and who can come and what need doing to get them there.
I built Bakery and Stables, which makes it impossible to build Guardhouse and Butcher. Can I change that in the future? Can I destroy, say, Bakery and build Butcher instead?
no, once you have build a building you stuck with it unless you load a save from before you build that building.
What are the pros and cons of the choice?
bakery makes more money at the end if i am infromed right, the same goes for the stables.
the pros and cons mainly consists of the items you can buy and the income from the building although the guardhouse has a unique combat arena.
guardhouse: guards which patrole your village, a combat arena which is unique, the new best bow of the game, no special npcs to hire
stable: new horses, best of the new horse armor pieces, special npc to hire, gains more money than the guard house.
Really, we need to have an option to change the buildings.
which was the last quest you made for them? maybe you still have to do one with them.
I like using the Bakery's Drying Shed to make a variety of dried foods. I have some Dried Hare I enjoy because it's half the weight of regular Dried Meat. Dried Cheese is more like aged cheese, but indeed goes well with a flask of Fine Wine.
I don't want Nicholas around after what he did to Hanekin anyways!
