Captain Bernard training broken

So I was training sword fighting with Captain Bernard when his arms got stuck in the upper right sword holding animation. I ended the combat and his arms continued to remain stuck. I entered dialogue with him and it continues. He did a lean animation and his arms are still stuck.

So is there anyway to get him back to normal? I already went back to an earlier save because it wasn't to far back....but in case it happens again I'd just like to know.

I saved the game after he got stuck, then reloaded and he was fine, so I think you don't even have to use earlier saves. Be careful not to get with him in the training arena when he's stuck, or you can get stuck there yourself

I have had the same thing several times. He is back to normal when you reload the game.

I could still surrender when training while he is stuck. He still strikes you while in this pose. I could not see his blows coming.

I have it with Bernard, Sir Capon when we fight and with bow until hare hunt. Bug is annoying because only remedy for it is load last save.

You can surrender and save. So its after he got stuck.

Big F to me, same problem but i went into the "master strikes" training and he went all "show me what you've got" where you only hit him a few times usually but hes not reacting at all to getting hit, i cant surrender and my last save was a very long time ago
