graphics settings not saved

all the time i need put graphics settings al lthe time again when i start the game what the... its wrong with this game?.. thanks

I had that problem too, if it switches to borderless your settings are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ once you go back to fullscreene

check antivirus log - might be blocking steam/game from writing to disk.
check windows security settings. Controlled Folder Access. turn off or add exception for game.

no graphic mod , i dont use antivirus , only windows defender... so rare its the only game that have this problem gonna check cache.. ?

Do you alt-tab? Every time you alt tab the game switches to borderless. This tanks performance a lot too. If you change back to full screen it will override all your graphics settings to default.

yea i saw that too why override ? thats is bad, cause i only want change the windows mode to fullscreen only not the graphics settings , anyway i neverr alt tabbed... -_-

i think i found a way to save graphics settings!!!!

quick guide:

1. start game
2. change graphics to your settings
3. load game
4. open consol ( tidle key " ` ")
5 type "q" and press enter ( this will exit the game )

after doing this my graphics saved the settings. i hope it works for others.

Load your game up and set your graphics to how you wan them. then open the consol with tidle key " ` ", the type q and press enter. that will quit the game. i had to do this because of a bug in dialog, but after returning to the game all my graphics have changed to the settings i want every time i load that game.

Year 2025. We already have KCD 2. The bug is still there on the 1st game. But the game is still awesome!

Anyway...
