Horse Body Armor?

Hi, i already found the Armor for the head however the game says that i can equip my horse with a Body armor.
So where is it?

Once I won the race at Talmburg and returned the horse to Zora at the Neuhof stud farm she rewarded me with a nobal saddle. Then I was able to go buy the Caparison for Pebbles at any Stud farm. It's not possible to buy any horse armor for Pebbles so kill her and buy a new horse then you can or just keep pebbles. I chose to keep pebbles.

lol who said anyone killed Pebbles. I've seen players say that and feel the same I woudl never kill a horse ever I love them :)

If you play DLC From the Ashes, and build an Armorer's Shop - you can buy some improved horse armor for the head, but nothing like Horse Barding.

Honestly, it's a waste of time, imo

If the game provided horse armor, folks would then be complaining about "why can't i gallop everywhere?"

You know - those bored people that need to complain by stating the obvious.

FWIW, Caparisons do offer some defense (best against slash) with the highest being 9 'points' and several others at 8.

One caparison offers 2. 9, 2 (stab, slash, blunt respectively)... which ain't nuthin'.

Yes indeed built the horse shop at Pribyslavitz, and found the colored headpieces, but no body armor. I went to look after then

For a while there was a modder on Nexusmods called Wilecoyote68 and he/she made some superb mods until deleting them all following the Nexus Collections announcement.

Wilecoyote68 did a fully-compatible updated version of a horse barding mod......... but then removed all of his/her mods following the Nexusmods collections announcement.

It's possible to get horse armour but you have to make it happen yourself...... or ask somebody else for the Wilecoyote68 mod.
