Ginger in a Pickle FAILED - NOW WHAT

What the hells???
-Called Captain Bernard to help me kill the bandits, we killed the bandits, Ginger is in his hut, cannot talk to him only pickpocket him.

-At this point I get QUEST FAILED and I do not get any more main quest!

-Looked up a walkthrough to see what the hell is going on

-Went back to Neuhof to speak with Radzig and he tells me to go to Uzhitz but gives me NO MAIN QUEST.

-I go to Uzhitz and cannot talk to anyone or ask anything to any peasant!

Help???

I am playing the latest version. My bug is new. Logged a ticket direct to warhorsegaming support and am on Discord.

There is a chance you did things out of order, which tends to screw up this part of the questline.

Did you know to look for Ginger by talking with Stable-hands about the Hoofpick ?

Did you find GInger by direction from the charcoal burners, or by short-cutting on the map using a walktrhough guide ?

I think there is a mods that allows you to reset quests.

Good luck - hopefully if you go back to an earlier save you can learn what you did out of sequence.

Did the quest through proper steps. Only looked up a walkthrough after 10+ real life hours as I thought "ok quest is done, maybe I have to wait some time for next quest" initially.

You dont need to wait on this quest - clearly something is interferring - if u followed all the steps in sequence, then my next guess would be a mod problem.

As i mentioned, i bugged here once - before i knew the proper sequence - but i dont anymore.

aye but not a huge mod. it just modifies a setting on save limits.

Anyway only thing that can save me is some console command that can trigger next quest manually

i use unlimited save mod, and have used it for 100s of hours without any issues (that i know of)

Sadly, all i can suggest is to reload an earlier save and "try again" - and your saves are from the current version right ? Some folks seem to be running old saves on the updated game and expecting no problems

Bought the game this week. Anyway cannot refund and cannot proceed so I gave up on it. I don't have any previous saves to the bug because I did not realize it was a bug so I kept doing side quests. saves overlapped until it overwritten everything. Uninstalled it and canned it. waste of money.
