Clothes Make the Man - what’s the point?

After a wild night out with Hans ol’ boy, Henry walked into Hans’s room one early afternoon and initiated the clothes quest.

The trunk is right there, right next to Hans. We’re in his room, and he just told me get some of his clothes. Henry did so, he took he clothes from the chest and immediately a couple friggin’ guards came in and wanted to find Henry.

Now THAT right there makes no sense.

What’s the idea with this quest? Your supposed to meet Hans elsewhere in Rattay and sneak into his room to “steal” the clothes?

I did notice Hans’s horse parked near the Tavern in Rattay. But Hans himself was in his room when Henry went to talk to him and initiated the quest. I mean, this quest lasted about 30 seconds and made no sense, lol.

Henry has not talked to Hans yet after being accosted by the guards. Maybe Hans will explain things?

Sometimes the quests make no sense.

beware you are allowed to take SOME clothes ( the nice pants, the boots, the nice shirt... )

I took the crappy pants too by mistake, noticed it was RED stolen tagged in my inventory and dropped it, i was lucky Hans didn't notice

So the idea is, Henrybgets this quest While he’s NOT already in Hans’s room. And you have to cautiously sneak into Hans’s room in the upper keep?

As it was for me, this quest was like, “Remove these items from the unlocked chest next to you !!”

you launch the quest by talking to Hans, in his room, and yes you immediately pick SOME clothes from the chest in that room

Hans doesn't give everything which is in that chest, only pick what you are allowed to

That's like Simon Says. Hardly qualifies for a "quest". I think a guard starting yelling at me as soon as I started highting items to remove. I managed to talk the guard out of arresting me later, but just a weird quest that for me left the impression that I had missed something or done something out of order.

Anyway, all's well then. And Henry has a new pair of underwear. Hopefully Hans doesn't leave skid marks.

if you only take what you are allowed to, and guards still come at you, it is a bug and nothing else
